Hey guys! You know what? It's soon Christmas! And that means I should be busy drawing winter-related pics with snows and reindeers and santa clauses but instead I did... this. And I don't regret it one bit.
So this is a picture of my OC's from the One Piece based RPG-site Caseot (which it's been a disturbingly long time since I visited) and it was a while since I drew them. They needed some luuuv. And I wanted to see The Wizard of Oz again. So I simply combined the two of them and drew a picture. The story? A young boy named Frankin Gale (he's actually 15 but I drew him younger because... because... because I felt like it) gets lost at sea during a strange storm. When he wakes up he forms a party with a strange couple of pirates. It's Tin-Woman ( Chess ) Scarefish ( Gaidjin ... and a scarefish provides the same services as a scarecrow, just underwater. He keeps the tuna away from the seaweed plantations) and Self-conscious Lion ( Charlie ... well, he's not actually a pirate but it will do.) Frankin is looking for a way home, Tin-Woman is looking for a heart, Scarefish is looking for brains and Self-conscious Lion is looking for therapy. So they set sail searching the seven seas after the Wizard-Pirate of Oz, who is said to be able to make their wishes come true... I love this picture. The colors, the details, the characters looking all Oz... I never get tired of looking at it. Plus it has an albatross in it. Gaidjin actually has a pet albatross in the RPG and it's named Snack (actually he didn't intend it to be a pet) so... I guess this is the first picture of Snack as Toto. I love albatrosses, just thinking of an albatross makes me glad. And a bit melancholic. But now I've babbled for quite a while... Don't forget that I love comments! 2008 Black Ink and Markers. The characters belong to me but exist in a One Piece-inspired universe and One Piece belongs to Eiichiro Oda. The Wizard of Oz belongs to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, I guess. |

Promarkers, faktiskt! De liknar triamarkers men har bara två storlekar på spetsarna (fet och ännu fetare) så de är inte så bra för detaljer.

Jag som tyckte det var en ganska dålig kommentar. XD Jag bara avgudade dig, sa inte ens vad det var vad jag gillade med bilden... men men, den är så jäkla snygg, vet inte vart jag skulle ha börjat. xD
J-jag har aldrig använt varken pro eller tria, så jag har ingen aning om hur de ser ut.... Men vaddå, är de tjocka?! Jag som satt och beundrade hur snyggt detaljerna var färglagda och att du inte kladdat massa utanför... hur sjutton gör du sånt med tjocka markers?!

Maybe so, men de flesta skulle ta "jag bara avgudade dig" som rätt bra beröm. Bättre än "mediokert" i allafall.
Fick mycket övning i att inte kladda utanför i mina disneyritböcker när jag var liten... och de flesta detaljer har jag fuskat dit med vit täckfärg och enkla svarta tuschpennor, men det får du inte säga till nån. *klonk*
